Treadle (“the app”) is a MIDI expression controller for iPhone. Your privacy matters, and the app is built to need none of your data.

Data we collect

None. Treadle does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.

Bluetooth

Treadle requests Bluetooth access for one purpose only: to send and receive MIDI messages to and from your music devices (synths, pedals, computers). Bluetooth is never used to collect data about you or your location, and nothing is transmitted off your device.

Network

The app makes no network requests. All settings are stored locally on your device.

Children

Treadle does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
